OFFENER BRIEF AN ERSTELLER – VON DAEMONIKA NIGHTFIRE (for english please scroll down)
Eine langjährige Freundin von mir Daemonika Nightfire hat einen *offenen* Brief an alle Ersteller verfasst zum Thema Scripte in Kleidung und Scripte zum Schutz derer. Ich hoffe, dass dieser Brief von vielen gelesen wird:
Liebe Kontent Ersteller, insbesondere Ersteller für Kleidung,
Seit langer Zeit beobachte ich, das ihr im Großteil der auf dem Marketplace angebotenen Kleidungsstücke Scripte verwendet um die Farbe bzw. Textur zu ändern.
Daran ist im Grunde nichts auszusetzen, doch bitte bietet eine Möglichkeit an, die Scripte restlos zu entfernen, sobald man die Farbe oder Textur eingestellt hat. Ihr seid zunehmend mit in der Verantwortung, wenn die Script-Belastung einer Region an ihre Grenzen stößt, sobald größere Events stattfinden. Sehr viele Avatare sind voll gepackt mit Scripten, die sie eigentlich nicht benötigen, aber gar nicht entfernen können. Auf Regionen mit Avatar bezogenen Script-Limits haben diese Avatare lediglich die Wahl das Kleidungsstück auszuziehen, wenn sie nicht selbst von der Region entfernt werden möchten. Das kann doch nicht in eurem Sinn sein, das die Leute eure tollen Kreationen nicht zeigen können, nur weil sie gewisse Script-Limits überschreiten. Ihr solltet mal über euer Handeln nachdenken, schließlich ist jeder Avatar, der eure Kleidung trägt kostenlose Werbung für euch.
Nun ein Punkt, der mir sehr am Herzen liegt.
Sehr viele von euch verwenden dieses dämliche Anti Rez Script. Euch sollte klar sein, das dieses Plazebo absolut keinen nutzen hat.
Es gibt in ganz Second Life kein einziges Script, das dazu in der Lage wäre, eure Kreationen in irgend einer Weise zu schützen! Das könnt ihr mir glauben, ich scripte in Second Life nun seit über 10 Jahren und weiß genau, dass es unmöglich ist. Also lasst bitte die Finger von diesen nutzlosen Anti Rez Scripten. Für Copybots ist es nicht notwendig, das Objekt auf den Boden zu rezzen. Die Schweine klauen eure Sachen direkt am Avatar während des Tragens.
Zudem sind sämtliche Scripte, auch das Anti Rez Script absolut nutzlos, wenn auf der Parzelle oder Region die Scripte abgeschaltet werden. Ich mache das regelmäßig und deaktiviere die Scripte der Objekte über das Estate Menü gleich vollständig.

Dear Kontent creator, especially creator of clothing,
For a long time I have been observing that in most of the clothes offered on the Marketplace you use scripts to change the color or texture.
There's nothing wrong with that, but please allow one to remove the scripts completely once you've set the color or texture. You are increasingly responsible, when the script load of a region reaches its limits as soon as larger events take place. Many avatars are packed with scripts that they do not need, but can not remove. For Avatar-related script limits, these avatars only have the option of removing the garment if they do not want to be removed from the region themselves.
This can not be in your sense that people can not show your great creations just because they exceed certain script limits. You should think about your actions, after all, every avatar who wear your clothes do free advertising for you.
Now a point that is very close to my heart.
Many of you use this anti Rez script.You should be aware that this placebo has absolutely no use. There is not a single script in Second Life that would be able to protect your creations in any way!
You can believe me, I have been scripting Second Life for more than 10 years now and know exactly that it is impossible. So please keep your hands off these useless Anti Rez scripts. For copybots it is not necessary to rezz the object on the ground. The pigs steal your stuff right on the avatar while wearing.
In addition, all scripts, even the Anti Rez script are absolutely useless if the scripts are turned off on the parcel or region. I do it all on a regular basis and completely disable the scripts of the objects via the Estate menu.
